Joe Beall

Joe Eddie Beall, age 79, of Ghent, KY passed this life on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the Gallatin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw, KY.  He was born on July 22, 1941 in Warsaw, Gallatin County, KY to Joe Harvey and Margaret Mae Smith Beall.  Joe Eddie was a member of St. John Catholic Church and retired from M&T Chemical Co. in 2001 as a shift supervisor in the production area.  He was an honorably discharged Viet Nam Era veteran of the U.S. Army, serving active duty from April 9 1964 until April 8, 1966, attaining the rank of SP4 and then serving four years in the U.S. Army Reserves.  Over the years, Joe Eddie was an active member of the Ghent Community having served as City Commissioner, volunteer on the Ghent Fire Department and on the Board of Trustees of the Ghent Fire Protection District.  He had a great love for animals and fishing and enjoyed camping and the outdoors.

He leaves to mourn his passing a son; Joseph Edward “Joe” Beall and his wife Sandra of Ghent, KY.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; Mary Kathryn Beall, June 2018.
