Joe Wright
June 22, 1930 — February 19, 2005
J.C. was born in Salyersville, Magoffin County, KY to Floyd T. and Mae Patrick Arnett Wright who have preceded him in death. He was a retired farmer having raised tobacco, hogs, strawberries and vegetables and was a member of Sanders Baptist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and was an avid hunter and fisherman..
His survivors include his wife, Linda Kay Templin Wright, three daughters, Patricia Sodeifi of Fairfax, VA, Suzanne Crain of San Antonio, TX and Melinda Wright of Sanders, KY, two sons, Joe D Wright and Darrell L. Wright both of Sanders, KY, two sisters, Hazel Davis of New Richmond, OH and Betty Pike of Belleair Beach, FL, a brother, Floyd T. Wright, Jr. of Singer Island, FL and five grandchildren. In addition to his parents, J.C. is preceded in death by a brother Edward Eugene Wright.
The Rev. Lucas Clabough, pastor of Sanders Baptist Church, will officiate services.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Sanders Baptist Church Building Fund in care of the funeral home.
