Joey Meadows

Joey L. Meadows, 61, of Carrollton, KY, died on Tuesday, January 27, 2015at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on July 25, 1953in Madison, Jefferson County, IN, the son of the late John Meadows and Elizabeth Chilton Peelman of Carrollton, KY. He was a General Construction Worker, having most recently worked at North American Stainless in Ghent, KY. He attended Mount Zion Baptist Church in Perry Park, KY.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Beech Meadows of Carrollton, KY, his mother, Elizabeth Chilton Peelman of Carrollton, KY, four sons, Joey Meadows, Jr. of Carrollton, KY, Corey Meadows of Madison, IN, Chad Lee of Saraland, AL, Chris Lee of Carrollton, KY, a daughter, Kyrah Meadows of Carrollton, KY, a step-daughter, Tabitha Reynolds of Worthville, KY, two brothers, Raymond (Sharon) Meadows and Carroll Meadows, both of Carrollton, KY, a sister, Diane Meadows of Carrollton, KY, and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, his step-father, Leslie John Peelman and three brothers, William, Ricky and John Michael Meadows.

Funeral Services were on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.. Visitation was on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 5:00P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
