John William Willis, 82, of Carrollton, KY., died on Saturday evening, July 30, 2011 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on September 27, 1928 in Turners Station, Henry County, KY., the son of the late James Martin Willis and Beulah Chilton Willis. He was a retired service station attendant.
He is survived by a sister, Mattie Lee Banta of Clarksville, IN., and Joe Tom Willis of Louisville, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elizabeth Martin Gordon Willis, a sister, Corrine Kanter, four brothers, George W. Willis, James WIllis, Frank Willis and Ernest Willis.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has entrusted with the arrangements.
