Joseph Kenneth Riley, Jr., died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana located in Columbus, IN. He was born on August 15, 1931 in Bardstown, Nelson County, KY to Joseph Kenneth and Mattie Belle Berry Riley. He retired in 1995 as a lineman for Bellsouth Telephone Co., served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehova's Witnesses in Columbus, IN. He also was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, Butler Generals Square Dance Club, was a licensed auctioneer, a former membr of the Moose Lodge and had also volunteered at the Hope Workshop in Carrollton, KY.
Survivors include: his wife; Dora Retha Inman Riley, daughters; Brenda (Eddie) Milby of Louisville, KY, Anne (Doug) Carrico of Bardstown, KY, Carolyn (David) McKim-Spicer of Columbus, IN, Patsy (Roy) Carver of Aztec, NM and Sheila (John) Pecord of Scottsburg, IN, sons; Dennis (Lucy) Riley of Daytona Beach, FL, Terry Riley of Ormond Beach, FL and Larry (Sandra) Rains of Oxford, AL, three sisters and one brother, 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
