Joseph Thomas “Joe” Roth, 64, of Carrollton, KY, died on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY.

He was born on January 25, 1955 in Portsmouth, Scioto County, OH,  the son of Thomas S. Roth and Betty J. Delabar Roth of Portsmouth, OH.  He was currently working in the Maintenance Department for Safran-Landing,  which makes Airplane Braking Systems.   He had previously worked at the Dayton-Walther Factory in Carrollton until its closing. He had served his Country in the United States Navy. He was honored as a Kentucky Colonel. He was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Carrollton.  He was also a member of the American Legion Post #41 in Carrollton.

He is survived by his parents, his wife, Debbie Robbins Roth of Carrollton, KY, a son, Josh (Tonya) Roth of Clinton, IA, three brothers, John Roth of Harrodsburg, KY, Daniel Roth and William Roth, both of Portsmouth, OH.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ted Roth.
