Joseph "Joe" Lee

Joseph William “Joe” Lee, 45, of Sparta, Gallatin County, KY, died on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, KY.

He was born on August 20, 1974 in Madison, Jefferson County, IN, the son of George William Lee, Jr. and Kathy Brooks Lee of Warsaw, KY.  He was a 1994 graduate of Gallatin County High School in Warsaw, KY.   He was a member of the Paint Lick Baptist Church in Warsaw, KY.  He was currently working as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Topy America, Inc.  He was an avid fisherman, loved to travel and cook and even published his own cook books.  He and his daughter had a unbreakable bond and would often go on long drives together to just talk.  He was an avid inspirational writer and loved his family, friends and dogs.  He was a huge Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan, no matter what kind of season they had.

He will be missed by his wife, Rachel Denise Chaney Lee of  Sparta, KY, to whom he married on June 26, 1999, his parents, his daughter, Kirsten Faith Lee of Sparta, KY, two brothers, Eric (Claywynieca) Lee of Carrollton, KY, and David (Elizabeth) Lee of Sparta, KY, several nieces and nephews and his best friend, Sam Wheeler.
