Joyce Sanders

Joyce Ann Sanders, age 83, departed this earthly life on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.  She was born on June 9, 1937 in Madison, Jefferson County, IN to James Todd Hoskins and Lucy Hoskins.  Joyce was a member of the Faith Community Church and had worked as a restaurant cook locally for several years and was a caregiver to elderly and infirmed.

Survivors include three sons; Jamie (Kari) Sanders of Carrollton, KY, Clinton Sanders of Carrollton, KY and Tim Tharp of Carrollton, KY, two step-sons; Tony Sanders of Eminence, KY and Billy Sanders of Campbellsburg, KY, three step-daughters; Sue Olds of Bedford, KY, Kay Sanders of Campbellsburg, KY and Krista Loeffler of Munich, Germany, a sister; Martha Jane Reynolds of Carrollton, KY and a brother; David (Jane) Hoskins of Carrollton, KY, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband; Benjamin Earl Tharp (1963), second husband; Kenneth Teague Sanders (1996), a son; Benny Tharp (2012), sisters; Sue Thomas and Tommie Skirvin, brothers; Jimmy Hoskins and Donnie Hoskins.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and the new reopening requirements we will be limiting the funeral home occupancy to 50% of normal capacity, so please be prepared for a possible line as we will be monitoring the occupancy.  We will also be strictly adhering to the 6 feet social distancing requirements.  We also request that attendees MUST wear a face mask while attending, unless a medical condition prevents you from wearing one.
