Joyce Conway

Joyce Ann Lorch Conway, 89, of Carrollton, KY, died on Thursday afternoon,  July 11, 2019 at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, IN.

She was born on July 27, 1929 in Covington, Kenton County, KY,  the daughter of the late Harry Reed Lorch and Vera S. Wright Lorch.   She had retired from the Carroll County School System as a Pre-School Teacher and Educator, having worked with special needs children.  She had served as a former chairperson for the Carroll County School Board.  She was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church and had served on many committees assisting with many activities and serving on various leadership roles of the church.  In her spare time she enjoyed golfing.

She will be missed by her daughter and son in-law, Glenda Ann (Danny) Ayler of Carrollton, KY, her son and daughter in-law, George Michael (Ginger) Conway of Park Hills, KY, three grandchildren, Jamie (Derrick) Ayler Hall, Brittany (Dave) Conway Kaiser and Aaron (Holly) Conway, five great grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George R. Conway on August 15, 2012 and a brother, James Frederick Lorch.
