Judith Shields, 61, of Bedford, KY., died on Tuesday,October 27, 2009 at her residence in Bedford, KY.
She was born on December 3, 1947 in Floyd County, KY., the daugther of Jay and Herma Lawson Pratt. She was a financial clerk and of the baptist faith. She was a supporter of the Gilda's Club of Louisville, a support group for people with cancer.
Survivors include her son; Jason Shields of Bedford, KY., her mother of Louisville, KY., three sister's; Diane Fightmaster of Louisville, KY., Sharon Humble of Sparta, KY., Lovetta Richmond of Louisville, KY., a brother; Ken Pratt of Waddy, KY., and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father and husband; James Shields.
You may join the family for a Celebration of the Life of Judith Shields on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 2:00-5:00 P.M. at the Gilda's Club, 633 Baxter Ave., Louisville, KY 40204. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Gilda's Club.
Cremation was chosen by the family.
