Julia O'Neal

Julia Rivers Jackson O’Neal, 94, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Worthville, KY,  on February 15, 1925 the daughter of the late Chester Jackson and Anna Wood Jackson . She was a 1942 graduate of Sanders High School and married Ellis B. O’Neal on October 22, 1947, they shared a marriage of fifty seven years until his passing in 2004.  She was a homemaker and member of the Ghent Baptist Church and the Ghent Women’s Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Sandy) Boswell of Carrollton, KY, a son, Walton J.(Chaille) O’Neal of Raleigh, NC, five grandchildren, Bryan O'Neal of Raleigh, NC, Brittany (Lee) O'Neal Howell of New Hill, NC, Ashley (Joe) Boswell McClure of Union, KY, Brooke Boswell of Carrollton, KY, and Breeanna (Justin) Boswell Furnish of Carrollton, KY,  six great grandchildren, Jackson Howell, Abigail Ellis McClure, Quinn Boswell, MaKenzie, Gavin and Bryce Furnish..

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ellis B. O’Neal on November 5, 2004, her son, Ricky O’Neal on October 7, 2006.
