June Vivien Scott McMurry, 89, died Sunday, December 27, 2009 in Louisville, KY.She was born on February 8, 1920 in Mercer Co., KY., the daughter of the late Ben and Anne Mitchell (Carter) Scott. She was a retired office manager and had held church memberships both in the Carrollton Christian and Harrodsburg Christian Church.She is survived by two son's; Gorden T. McMurry of Louisville, KY., and Gene McMurry of Carrollton, KY., two half brothers; Ben Scott of Versailles, KY., and Clarence Scott of Lawrenceburg, KY., four grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Gorden Felix McMurry, a half sister; Eudora Dygert and one grandson; Ken McMurry.Funeral Services were on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel in Harrodsburg, KY. Burial was in the Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, KY.Local arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
