June Oney

June Miller Oney, age 84, of Carrollton, KY passed this life on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at her home with family gathered close by. She was born in Ghent, Carroll County, KY to Marion Joseph Miller and Ruby Harrell Miller.  June was a member of Ghent Baptist Church and was a purchasing clerk at North American Stainless in Ghent, KY.  She was the former Business Office Administrator for the Carroll County Memorial Hospital, formerly employed as office staff at Ison Brothers Furniture Factory and in her early years wor . ked at Warner-Brothers Pictures in Cincinnati, OH.

Left to mourn her passing is a son; James C. Oney, Jr. of Carrollton, KY, two grandchildren; Hillary Paige Oney of New York City, NY and Evan Miller Oney of Carrollton, KY, two nieces; Francie Hill Strohmeier of Frankfort and Tracy Evans of Louisville, KY.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; James Claude Oney, Sr. and a sister; Eva Jo Hill.
