Junior Lee Rose

Junior Lee Rose, 79, of Carrollton, KY, born on September 23, 1944, in Prestonville, Carroll County, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2024, in Carrollton, Carroll County, Kentucky. 

Most recently, Junior worked as a tree topper for several years. His previous employment included significant tenures at the Ana-Mag/Anaconda Factory and the Carrollton Furniture Factory.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Junior enjoyed socializing with friends at McDonald’s, where he cherished the camaraderie and lively discussions that took place among his group. This love for connection extended to his family, especially to his sister, Juanita Marie (JD) Smith, who resides in Carrollton, KY, along with several aunts and uncles who remember him fondly.

He joins in eternal rest his beloved parents, Henry Elmer Rose and Ora Lee Gordon Rose, as well as his brother, Elmer Junior Rose, and sister, Mary Lee Bates. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Cove Hill Baptist Church, located at 4751 Mound Hill Rd, Carrollton, KY 41008. The burial will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
