Karen Browning
August 21, 1950 — October 6, 2016
Karen R. Browning, beloved wife of Mark T. Browning, 66, of Ghent, KY, succumbed to her Cancer on October 6, 2016 at the Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, KY.
She was born on August 21, 1950 in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, the daughter of the late John H. Richter and Audrey Lorenz Richter. She retired in 1997 as an Administrative Assistant at the Carroll County Cooperative Extension Office. She also had owned and operated the "The Basket Tree" in Ghent, KY.
She is survived by her husband, Mark T. Browning of Ghent, KY; two daughters, Heather (David) Colvin of St. Simons Island, GA; and Hillary J. (Beau) Arney of Carrollton, KY; a sister, Gwen Kaiser of Louisville, KY; a brother, Arthur "Art" (Sheree) Richter of Carrollton, KY; two grandchildren, Hannah and Eli Colvin of St. Simons Island, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has been chosen by the family with private services to be held at a later date.
