Kenneth Barr

Kenneth Lane “Kenny” Barr, 61, of Ghent, KY, died on Monday, March 1, 2021 at his home in Ghent, KY.

“Kenny” as most family and friends knew him was born on February 16, 1960 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Kenneth Harlan Barr and Ann Lou Cardwell Barr.  He had retired from the Construction Industry.  He was a member of the Ghent Baptist Church.  He was an avid University of Kentucky fan.

He will be missed by his wife; Lisa Ann Noble Barr of Ghent, KY, two son’s; Steven Lane Barr and his wife; Jessica of Perry Park, KY, and Shannon Phillip Barr of Ghent, KY, a daughter; Stephanie Barr O’Neal and her husband; Darrin of Bedford, KY, two brothers; Troy Phillip Barr of Ghent, KY, and Chad Harlan Barr and his wife; Jennifer of Union, KY, a sister; Teresa Louden and her husband; Mark of Carrollton, KY, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

His parents preceded him in death.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and the new reopening requirements, the church building limiting occupancy will be 50% of normal capacity, so please be prepared for a possible line as we will be monitoring the occupancy.  We will also be strictly adhering to the 6 feet social distancing requirements.  We also request that attendees please wear a face covering if possible.
