Kenneth Boswell

Kenneth Boswell, 82, of Louisville, KY., formerly of Carrollton, KY., died on Wednesday evening, December 2, 2009 at the Regis Woods Health & Rehabilitation in Louisville, KY.He was born on September 20, 1927 in Carrollton, KY. He was retired in 1989 as manager in the service section of the Kentucky School for the Blind. He was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the N.R.A. and Carrollton Christian Church.He is survived by his Wife; Ruby E. Boswell of Louisville, KY., Daughter; Sally Boswell of Carrollton, KY., Sons; Sandy Boswell of Carrollton, KY., and Paul Boswell of Carrollton, KY., Step - Sons; Gary Bowman of Louisville, KY., and John Bowman of Louisville, KY., Ten Grandchildren and Nine Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, First Wife; Doris Ebert Boswell (1978), Step - Daughter; Shirley Culton, a Half-Brother; Jack Simonton. Funeral Services were on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Scherer officiating the service. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Gifts were given to the American Diabetes Association.Arrangements were entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
