Kent Willhoite

Kent M. Willhoite, 56, of Carrollton, KY., died on monday evening, September 3, 2012 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.

He was born on April 16, 1956 in Carrollton, Kentucky, the son of Freddy M. Willhoite and the late Patricia Pruett Willhoite. He was a former host at the General Butler State Park and Resort and a clerk at Super America. He was also a floral designer having worked at various florist shops in Carrollton.

He currently served on Carrollton City Planning and Zoning Commission and he was a worker for the Carroll County Election Polls.

He will be missed by his father, and two brothers, James G. "Greg" Willhoite of Cincinnati, Ohio and Troy Willhoite of Warsaw, KY. Several nieces and nephews will also miss him.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. at the St. John Catholic Church in Carrollton, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at the St. John Catholic Church in Carrollton, Ky. Burial will take place in the St. John Catholic Cemetery.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Carroll County Animal Support Group in care of the funeral home.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Visitation on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at the St. John Catholic Church in Carrollton, KY.

Funeral

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. at the St. John Catholic Church in Carrollton, KY.

Interment

St. John Catholic Cemetery, Carrollton, KY.
