Larry Brightwell

Larry R. Brightwell, 67, of Ghent, KY, died on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on November 24, 1950 in Ghent, Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Augustra Brightwell  and Ella Jean Jones Harris.  He was retired from Riverview Foods having worked in the Packaging Department.  He was of the Baptist faith.

He will be missed by two daughters, Malinda (Alex) Martin of Ghent, KY, and Melissa Lewellyn of Ghent, KY, two brothers, Raymond Brightwell of Warsaw, KY, and Rev. Wayne Harris of Georgetown, KY, three sisters, Florence Weber of Carrollton, KY, Ressa Ellerm of Indianapolis, IN, and Maxine Brightwell of Ohio, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Salvester Davis, Otha Brightwell, Thomas Brightwell and Johnny Brightwell and one sister, Joyce Ann Vereen.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
