Larry Coghill

Larry Ray Coghill, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, IN.  Born on November 11, 1949, he was raised by his grandparents; Wheeler and Ida Mae Coghill and was the appliance repairman for 53 years with McNeal’s, Inc. in Carrollton, KY.  Larry was a Kentucky Colonel, an avid UofL fan, demo derby organizer and participant, enjoyed fishing, hunting and constantly working in his yard to keep it looking nice.  He also decorated the yard for every holiday.

Survivors include his wife; Barbara L. Happney Coghill, a daughter; Bridget L. Knight of LaGrange, KY, two sons; Jason R. (Renee’) Coghill of Carrollton, KY and Ronnie B. Knight, Jr. of Milton, KY, three sisters; Sharlene Perkinson of Carrollton, KY, Janie Martin of Carrollton, KY and Christine Hon of Madison, IN and three grandchildren; Mallory Coghill, Macy Coghill and Jaxon Knight.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents that raised him.
