Lawrence Thornton McBurney| Jr.

Lawrence Thornton "Larry" McBurney, Jr., 55, of Carrollton, KY., died on Friday, July 29, 2011 at his residence in Carrollton, KY.

He was born on August 14, 1955 in San Antonio, Bexar County, TX., the son of Lawrence Thornton McBurney, Sr., of Loreno, TX., and the late Addie Faye Causey McBurney. Larry worked for North American Stainless in Ghent, KY., as Shipping Crew Leader in the Shipping Department. He previously had worked for Dow Corning Chemical Company in Carrollton for 23 years.

In his spare time he enjoyed golfing and watching the Dallas Cowboys Football Team.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Miller McBurney of Carrollton, KY., daughters, Heather Rebecca Myers of Pendleton, KY., Amy Wright of Florence, KY., and Ashley Leann Schooler of Carrollton, KY., a son, Seth McBurney of Florence, KY., a sister, Diane Ferguson of Loreno, TX., two uncles, James and Robert McBurney, eleven nephews and six nieces. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Sunday at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
