Lee Catherine Lankton Pearson, passed away in Kennewick, Washington on February 25, 2012 at the age of 58.
Lee is survived by her husband, David Pearson of Kennewick, WA., by her mother Sid Lankton of Carrollton, and by her three brothers; Mark Lankton of Boulder, CO., Steve Lankton of Wheeling, IL., and Scott Lankton of Ann Arbor, MI.
Lee attended Carroll County Schools from 1965 to 1971. She was a cheerleader at C.C.H.S. and played flute in the band. In 1971 she moved with her family to Wales, U.K. and received her "A Levels" there. Lee returned to the States and attended Colorado University in Boulder. She then graduated from Butter worth School of Nursing in Grand Rapids, MI., in 1977. Lee worked as a Registered Nurse in Munising, MI before moving to Louisville and continuing to work as a Registered Nurse there.
She married in Carrollton in 1982 to David Pearson of Washington State. They lived in Louisville and worked at hospitals there until they moved to Kennewick, WA in 1991 where they raised their son, Tyler. Lee was known for his great strength of character, her tenacity, for her wonderful cooking and baking, and for the deep love of her family. She is greatly missed.
Memorial Gifts may be given to the Hospice of The Bluegrass.
