Leoma Shobert

Leoma Lawrence Shobert, 98, of Carrollton, KY., died on Friday morning, April 8, 2011 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
She born on May 11, 1912 in Henry County, KY., the daughter of the late Foster Lawrence and Pearl Supplee Lawrence. Mrs. Shobert was a retired Beautician and a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton.
Survivors include her husband, Hugh Shobert of Carrollton, KY., a sister, Edith Taylor of Bedford, KY., a brother, Thomas Lawrence of Richmond, VA., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Marcella, three sisters, Ruby Combs, Dorothea Doll and Margaret Smith, and one brother, James Lawrence.
The Rev. Chris White officiated the funeral services on Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
