Leonard Smith

Leonard C. Smith, 70, of Bedford, KY., died Thursday evening at the Bedford Health Care Center in Bedford, KY.
He was born in Breckinridge County, KY., on August 30, 1936, the son of the late Paul D. and Velma J. (Carman) Smith. Leonard was a former self-employed Painter and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church.
His survivors include two sisters; Pauline Smith of Carrollton, KY., and Jean L. Mershall of Bedford, KY., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The Rev. Johnny McDowell and Rev. Mike LaFountain will officiate the funeral service on Monday at the funeral home.
In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Gifts are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
