Linda Carroll Hicks, 53, of Warsaw, KY, formerly of Carrollton, KY, died peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2014 at the Providence of Gallatin Health in Warsaw, KY

She was born on August 19, 1961 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late Neva Frances West Hicks and Benjamin Carroll Hicks of Williamstown, KY. Linda spent most of her life in the loving care of her loving mother, who made sure Linda was taken care of in her life and was able to enjoy the beauty of life that most people take for granted. Early on, Linda was involved with Special Olympics having received many awards throughout the years. When Linda's mother passed away in 2005 it was then that her brothers and sister continued the loving care that their mother had provided Linda for so many years. Some of Linda's favorite things were Walt Disney Collectables and celebrating the joy Christmas.

She will be dearly missed by her sister, Beverly Hicks of Shelbyville, KY, her brothers, Benjamin Hicks and George Hicks, both of Carrollton, KY, Michael Popp of Hanover, IN, Gary Popp of Crestwood, KY, her father of Williamstown, KY, four half sisters, Anna Webster of Williamstown, KY, Angel Johns of Owenton, KY, Mae Murphy and Juanita Brewer, both of Dry Ridge, KY, two half brothers, Doc Murphy of Princeton, WV, and B.J. Murphy of Dry Ridge, KY.

She was preceded in death by her mother on October 23, 2005.

A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. In honoring the family's wishes, Cremation has been chosen by the family.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Visitation

A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Interment

Cremation has been chosen by the family.
