Linda Hicks

Linda Lee Hicks, 64, of Carrollton, KY passed away on July 17, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, KY.
She was born on November 16, 1947 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Goebel Moore and Ruth Mae Long Moore. She was a former member and secretary of the Carroll County Rescue Squad, Former Secretary of Carroll Co. DES and Former Volunteer for the Carroll County Ambulance Service. She was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church in Carrollton.
She will be missed by her husband, Richard L. Hicks, two sons, Richard L. Hicks, Jr. Indiana and Michael L. Hicks, Carrollton, KY. and by her one daughter, Verna Kelley, Louisville, KY. and one step-daughter Jenny Wendling, Delhi, Oh. One brother, Larry G. Moore, Sr., Carrollton, KY, and four sisters, Ruth Burchfield, Carrollton, KY, Mary Sorrell, Greenwood, IN, Pamela Jefferies, Carrollton, KY, and Kathy McKinley, Eminence, KY., a half sister, Sheila Perry of Carrollton, KY. Nineteen grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren and Ninety-Two nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, a daughter, Ruth Jean Hicks, and one sister, Brenda D. Crawford.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Ison officiating the service. Burial will be in the English Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.
In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Gifts may be given to the Linda L. Hicks Memorial Fund in care of the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Funeral
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Ison officiating the service.
Interment
Burial will be in the English Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.
