Linda Sue Shay, 63, of Bedford, KY., died on Monday morning, August 24, 2009 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, IN.
She was born on September 18, 1945 in Lockport, Henry County, KY. Linda was a former Quilter for the Brunswick Corporation in Eminence, KY.,and a former Teachers Aid for Head Start in the Eminence, KY., School System. She attended Providence Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; Donald R. Shay of Bedford, KY., a daughter; Melissa Lynn Gordon of Indianapolis, IN., a son; Thomas Richard Shay of Milton, KY., a sister; Mary Brummett of Indianapolis, IN., a ex-sister-in-law; Joyce Hoyt of Acton, IN., four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Bro. Jeffrey Brummett officiating the service. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Wedensday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ghent Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Gordon, Michael Gordon, Monty Durand, Michael C. Gordon, Chris Smiley and Jacob Shay.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
