Louis Proctor

Louis Hayes Proctor, 76, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on May 4, 1943 in Gallatin County, KY, the son of the late  Victor Hayes Proctor and Essie Sarah Belle Marie Beach Proctor.  Early in his life he was raised and baptized in the former Sanders Christian Church in Sanders, KY.  He had spent most of his like working as a Automotive Mechanic and had also worked for the former Ison Brothers Furniture Factory in Carrollton.

On May 15, 1961 he married Mae Dell Mahoney of Carrollton and she survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Teresa Taulbee and Charlotte Horine, both of Carrollton, KY, four brothers, Leslie Earl “L.E.” Proctor of Batavia, OH, Victor Hayes Proctor, Jr. of Vevay, IN, Vernon Proctor of Warsaw, KY, and Ronald Proctor of Vevay, IN, two sisters, Brenda Sue Dodson of Carrollton, KY, and Linda Lou Proctor of Manchester, TN, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Michael L. “Mike” Proctor on August 5, 2018, three brothers, Richard Lee Proctor, Robert “Bobby” Proctor and James Proctor.
