Louise Spillman

Louise Meadows Spillman, 90, of Carrollton, Kentucky, passed away on November 21, 2012 at the St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Unit in Lexington, KY. She was born on July 7, 1922 in Carrollton, Carroll County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Noah J. Meadows and Nora Ellen Purcell Meadows. She married the late Fred Joseph Spillman in September 1948. Mrs. Spillman was a Co-Owner of the former East End Lumber and Supply Company in Carrollton. She had previously been a Switchboard Operator for twelve years at South Central Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of the former Rebekah Lodge in Carrollton, KY for 50 years, the former Butler Generals Square Dance Club in Carrollton, KY., and the former Business and Professional Woman's Club in Carrollton. She was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church. She will be missed by her daughter, Ellen Jane Spillman Wood of Sadieville, KY., four grandchildren and six great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fred Joseph Spillman, one daughter, Susan D. Spillman and one sister, Velma Simmons. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, KY., with the Rev. Melvin LeCompte officiating the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton. In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Hospice of the Bluegrass or the Carrollton Christian Church in care of the funeral home. The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment

Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
