Lucille Simmons Long Bond, 84, died on Friday, June 8, 2007 at the Bedford Health Care Center in Bedford, KY.
She was born in Carroll County, KY., on August 27, 1922 to Ora and Martha Spillman Simmons, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Wesleyan Church and retired from Glauber's Shoe Store in Carrollton, KY.
She is survived by two sons: M.G. Long and Roger Long of Carrollton, KY; a brother: Clifford Simmons of Milton, KY; Seven Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents: Husband: Gilbert Long, 2nd Husband: Lawrence Bond, a daughter: Sue Andrews, a sister: Lena Mitchell, a grandson: Roger Darren Long and a great granddaughter - Amanda Long.
The Rev. Orville Mann officiated the service on June 12, 2007 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
