Luke Frost

Luke C. Frost, 88, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on November 14, 1924 in Gest, Henry County, KY, the son of the late Herman E. Frost and Sarah Kelly Frost. He was a retired Lockmaster from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Markland Locks and Dam. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton of where he was a former Deacon for over 50 years plus.

He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during World War II.

He will be missed by his wife Chris Frost of Carrollton, KY, his daughters, Pam (Dennis) Raisor of Sanders, KY, and Patti (Tim) Harrison of Carrollton, KY, a son, Mark C. (Sheri) Frost of Lawrenceburg, KY, three brothers, Andrew Frost of Williamsburg, KY, George Robert Frost of Dry Ridge, KY, and Howard Frost of Henry County, KY, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mae Tincher and Madelyn Jo Downey, three brothers, Elliot, Herman Jr., and Fred Frost.

Funeral Services were at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton with the Dr. Chris White officiating the service. Burial was the in Pleasureville Cemetery Pleasureville, KY.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Gifts may be given to the First Baptist Church of Carrollton in care of the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
