Lula Mae Cook, 85, of Warsaw, KY., formerly of Ghent, KY., died on Wednesday evening, April 8, 2009 at the Gallatin Health Care Center in Warsaw, KY.
Lula Mae was born on August 31, 1923 in Owen County, KY., the daughter of the late James Ben and Blanche (Thompson) Stout. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Ghent Baptist Church and the Ghent Women's Club.
She will be missed by her daughter; Melanie A.(Daryl) Satchwell of Worthville, KY., a son; Ted W.(Verna) Cook of Carrollton, KY., two grandchildren, three step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her parents, her husband; William C. Cook on December of 1993 and two brothers; Forest Lee and Eugene Stout.
Funeral Services were on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Graham Reynolds officiating the service. Burial will be in the Ghent Masonic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are suggested to the Carroll County Senior Event.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
