Lura Willhoite

Lura Lee Willhoite, 87, of Carrollton, KY., died on Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on December 5, 1924 in Ghent, Carroll County, KY., the daughter of the late Virgil Lee and Mable Cynthia Wheeler Willhoite. She was retired from Teledyne Packaging in Carrollton as a laborer. She was a member of the Family Worship Center in Carrollton.

She will be missed by two brother's , James Donald "Sandy" Willhoite and William E. "Bill" Willhoite, both of Carrollton, KY., two sister's, Hallie Kiebler of Sellersburg, IN., and Evelyn Foster of Jeffersonville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton with the Rev. Pat Butcher officiating the service. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. on Monday, August 13, 2012 at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Gifts may be given to the Family Worship Center or the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
