Mae Dell Mahoney Proctor

She was born on January 7, 1945, in Owenton, Owen County, KY, the daughter of the late George Leonard Mahoney and Josie Dell Davis Mahoney. Mae Dell had worked at the former Kawneer Factory in Milton, KY, for several years until its closing and then retired from the American Racing Factory in Warsaw, KY. She had also worked for Butler Furniture Factory and other Factories. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and yard work, along with cooking and baking.

Mae Dell is survived by her two daughters, Teresa Taulbee and Charlotte Horine, both of Carrollton, KY; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Louis Hayes Proctor, a son, Michael L. “Mike” Proctor, two sisters, Mary Kathleen Cannon and Rosie Lee Mack, and two brothers, George Alfred Mahoney, and Richard C. Mahoney.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
