Maedelle Miller

Maedelle Miller, a beloved member of her community, passed away on December 23, 2024, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY. Born on March 11, 1941, in Owen County, KY, she lived a life characterized by dedication to both her family and her work.  She was the daughter of James Clarence and Birdella Perry Breeden, who have preceded her in death.

Maedelle was most known for her warm spirit and industrious nature. She was formerly employed at Butler Furniture in Carrollton, bringing her strong work ethic and a smile to everyone she encountered. Additionally, she provided service in housekeeping at the Holiday Inn, where her attention to detail and commitment to excellence left a lasting impression on guests and colleagues alike.

Throughout her life, Maedelle found joy in the art of crocheting, where she expressed her creativity and shared her creations with loved ones. Her talent for crafting was matched only by her passion for nurturing her family, who were the cornerstone of her existence.

Maedelle is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Louise McCusker of Madison, IN, and Cindy Faye Brown of Carrollton, KY; her son, Timothy Dean (Tina) Miller of Carrollton, KY; and her sister, Verna King of Carrollton, KY. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Agnes Marie Breeden, and brothers S.W. Breeden, Garland Breeden, Sr., Wesley Breeden, Elmore Breeden, and Bennie Earl Breeden. These relationships shaped her character and legacy, and they will be remembered fondly by those she leaves behind.

A visitation to celebrate Maedelle's life will take place on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, located at 809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, KY. This will be followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM.

Maedelle Miller's legacy of love, strength, and service will continue to resonate within the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her irreplaceable presence will be deeply missed.
