Marcia Hess

Marcia W. Hess, 84, of Perry Park, KY, died on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Signature Healthcare of Carrollton.

She was born on March 15, 1934 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edward Lipka and Rose Wirtle.  She was a retired Teacher’s Assistant with the North Fairmount Elementary School in Cincinnati, OH.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Michael) Ryan of Perry Park, KY, and Cindy (Steve) Thomson of Hebron, KY, seven grandchildren, Megan (David) Smith, Lori (Randy) Massie, Kelly Arlinghaus, Steve (Jessica) Thomson, Amanda Thomson, Ben and Katie  Hess.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Hess, and her son, Tommy Hess.

She had willed her body to the University of Cincinnati School of Medical Science.   No formal Services are planned at this time at her request.

Local arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
