Margaret Agnes New, 88, a resident of Carrington Park in Ashtabula, OH died on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Carrington Park in Ashtabula, OH..
She was born October 21, 1925 in Owen County, KY the daughter of the late Hobert H. Roberts and Gertie Katherine (Kemper) Roberts. She was retired from Fluid Industries in Painesville, OH. She was of the baptist faith and enjoyed bingo.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Carroll Harkins of Ashtabula, OH and Nancy K. Pettit of Painesville, OH a son, John H. New of Geneva, OH, a sister, Virginia Mefford of Worthville, KY, ten grandchildren and several grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James P. New, a son, Billy J. New, a grandson, Sean Harkins.
Funeral Services were on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, KY. Visitation was from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the Squiresville Cemetery in Owen County, KY.
