Margaret Ann Persall

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Margaret Ann Persall, 87, of Carrollton, KY, our loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched, on May 13, 2023. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her home in Carrollton, Kentucky. She was born on January 6, 1936, in Madison, Indiana, the daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred Haas. She was a 1954 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. Margaret Ann married her love, Glenn (Pete) Persall, in 1959, who preceded her in death in 2002.

Margaret Ann is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Ann (Joe) Ruffolo. She is the adored grandmother of Lauren (Luke) Gignac, Alexander, Brooke, and Jaclyn (Jon) Kaminski, and the proud great-grandmother of three (3) great-grandchildren and four (4) grandpups.

She lived a full life as a devoted wife and wonderful mother, and she loved to bake for her grandchildren. She lived in the kitchen and was forever cooking up a storm for her famous family gatherings. Margaret Ann spent many years working as a voter poll worker in Carrollton during elections.
