Margaret A. Smith, 66, of Carrollton, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at her residence in Carrollton.
She was born on January 18, 1945 in North Pekin, IL., the daughter of Bernard R. Arnold and the late Elta Marie Decker.
Mrs. Smith had served her country with the U.S. Army with a honorable discharge.
She is survived by her son, Brian Smith of Worthville, KY., her father, sisters, Viola Dobbs of Oklahoma City, OK., and Margie Messer of North Branch, MN., a brother, Bernard Arnold, Jr., of Peoria, IL.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her mother and three brothers, James, Michael and Charles Arnold.
A Memorial Mass will be on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 12:15 P.M. at the St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. Kavungal Davy officiating the service. Cremation was chosen by the family.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

No Visitation is planned.

Memorial Mass - 12:15 P.M. - Tuesday - July 26, 2011 at the St. John Catholic Church in Carrollton.
Interment
Cremation was chosen.
