Margaret Cedella Mikesell Wood, of Carrollton,, KY, died Thursday, January 21, 2016 at her daughter's home in Carrollton, KY. She was born in Jefferson County, IN on November 1, 1925 to Sidney and Irene Barnes Mikesell. She was a member of Cove Hill Baptist Church and retired as a cook for the American Commercial Barge Line.
She is survived by: five daughters; Gloria Dermon of Carrollton, KY, Judy Perkinson of Pleasureville, KY, Karen Robbins of Carrollton, KY, Linda Meredith of Hanover, IN and Patricia Wright of Carrollton, KY, two sons; Michael Perkinson of Lexington, IN and Ronald Perkinson of Carrollton, KY, a sister; Joyce Flint of Austin, IN, 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, a son; Ray Edward Perkinson, three sisters; Wilma Jean Fox, Mae Cassidy and Juanita Mikesell, four brothers; Dennis Mikesell, Walter Mikesell, Melvin Mikesell and Max Mikesell.
