Marian Fay Popp, 85, of Carrollton, KY., died on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab. Center in Carrollton.

She was born on April 10, 1925 in Petersburg, KY., the daughter of the late Luke and Lillie Grace (Stewart) Holt. Mrs. Popp was a retired cook from Cooper's Restaurant in Carrollton. She was a member of the English Baptist Church and the W.O.M. at the church, she was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge.

Mrs. Popp will be missed by her daughters,Sandra F. Thompson of Carrollton, KY., and Nancy R. Brown of Whitesburg, KY., sons, George William Popp, Jr. of Latonia, KY., and Anthony W. Popp of Worthville, KY., twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George William Popp, Sr., two sons, Daniel P. Popp and Richard F. Popp, five brothers, William, Edwin, Donald, Ralph and Milton Holt, five sisters, Ellen Bryant, Kathleen Hughes, Juanita Rodamer, Louise Ashcraft and Betty Napaier, one grandson, Aaron Lynn Brown and one great grandson, Gauge Christman Brock.

Funeral Services were on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Owenby officiating the service. Burial was in the Sand Run Baptist Church Cemetery in Hebron, KY.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the family.

5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. - Monday - March 14, 2011 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

11:00 A.M. - Tuesday - March 15, 2011 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Interment

Graveside Service 2:00 P.M. - Tuesday - March 15, 2011 at the Sand Run Baptist Church Cemetery - Hebron, KY.
