Marilyn Bryant Booth

Marilyn Bryan Booth, 95, of Carrollton, KY, died on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Signature Healthcare of Carrollton.

She was born and raised in Campbellsburg, KY, on November 13, 1927, the daughter of the late W.O. Bryant and Minnie Elizabeth Byers Bryant. Marilyn had formerly worked for General Butler State Park and Resort as an Executive Housekeeper for over 28 years. Some of her favorite hobbies included reading, working on crossword puzzles, traveling, and watching birds. She loved to shop, but only if you figured out where you were going to eat before going shopping because that was the most important to know.

Marilyn was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church.

She is survived by her son, John Booth, and his wife, Tami, of Carrollton, KY; four grandchildren: Amy (Chad) Campbell of Campbellsburg, KY; Amy Jean (Dallas) Tyler of Crestwood, KY; Eric (Emily) Hewitt of Carrollton, KY; and Patrick (Belinda) Booth of Carrollton, KY; eight grandchildren: Addyson and Evan Campbell; Emma and Owen Tyler; Macon Hewitt; Matthew Tingle; and Mya and Kalem Fuller.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Thomas Booth, in 1967, and a grandson, Matt Fuller.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Salvation Army or the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of America in the care of the funeral home.
