Marjorie A. Root, 77, of Carrollton, KY., died on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab. Center in Carrollton, KY.
She was born on March 21, 1935 in Grays, KY., the daughter of the late Marvin and Nellie MaGee Craig, She was a housewife and had been a member of the First Church Of Nazarene in Louisville, KY.
She will be missed by her two sons, Jeffery G. Root and his wife, Kim of Carrollton, KY., and Harold D. Root of Bowling Green, KY., a brother, Marvin Craig, Jr. of Grays, KY., and one grandchild, Tristan J.K. Root.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl Root and one brother, Harry Craig.
Cremation has been chosen by the family with no public services were planned.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Early Childhood Development Program in care of the funeral home.
