Marsha Jean Jones

Marsha Jean Foster Jones, age 69, of Carrollton, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY.  She was born in Linton, IN on October 25, 1953 to Justus and Freida Grace Slunaker Foster.  Marsha was a member of First Baptist Church of Carrollton and was a retired registered nurse having worked most of her career at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, KY.

Survivors include her husband, John F. Jones III, a son, John F. “Jay” (Christie) Jones, IV of Independence, KY, one sister, Lisa Baldwin of St. Paul, MN, two brothers, David Foster of Ben, OR and Rick Foster of Topeka, KS and three grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Jacqueline Jones “Jacey” Potts and a sister, Lynn Mickunas.

At Marsha’s request, cremation was chosen, and no services will be held.
