Martha Moorman

Martha Ann Borntraeger Moorman, age 86, of Carrollton, KY passed away at her home on Saturday, June 04, 2022.  She was born on September 9, 1935 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY to Frank and Katherine Happel Borntraeger.  Martha was a member of the St. John Catholic Church and was retired as secretary of Kathryn Winn Elementary School where she served from1971 until 1990.  She was also a volunteer for the Carroll County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, member of the Red Hat Society, drive for the Red Cross Medical Transport, volunteer for the St. Vincent De Paul Society and a member of the former Butler Generals Square Dancing group.

Survivors include, two daughters; Susan (Ed) Dillman of Shepherdsville, KY and Nancy (Jay) Geiger of Cadiz, KY, three sons; Danny (Jackie) Moorman of Carrollton, KY, Glen (Gina Webster) Moorman of French Lick, IN and Jim (Julie) Moorman of Crandall, IN, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Maurice R. Moorman (1992), a sister; Joyce Borntraeger Cissell and a brother; Bruce Borntraeger.
