Marvin H. Robertson, 65, of Worthville, KY., died on Friday morning, May 27, 2011 at the University of Louisville Hospital.
He was born on December 23, 1945 in Owen County, KY., the son of the late Leonard and Ruth V. Montford Robertson. He had formerly worked at Arvin - Meritor in Carrollton as a furnace operator. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He will be missed by his wife, Mary E. Dempsey Robertson, a daughter, Janie A. Thompson of Worthville, KY., sons, Jacob Aaron Robertson of Worthville, KY., Marvin Wade Robertson of Worthville, KY., and Mark W. Sanders of Warsaw, KY.,sisters, Nancy Bell of Greenfield, IN., Joyce Requet of Madison, IN., Maude Banks of Columbus, IN., a brother, Leonard Danner of Carrollton, KY., eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Richard Martin Sanders, Jr., sisters, Martha Jane Daniels, Mildred Watson and one infant sister, brothers, Otis, Rodman, Les and Jack Robertson.
Graveside Services were on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Worthville Cemetery.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
