Mary Cannon

Mary Kathleen (Mahoney) Cannon, 67, of Carrollton, KY, went to her heavenly home on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in New Liberty, Owen County, KY, on March 27, 1946 to George Leonard Mahoney and Josie Dell Davis Mahoney. She married Ray Cannon in September of 1963. She had worked for Rocketwood Woodworking Factory in Charlestown, IN, the Conn Organ Factory in Madison, IN, and last at the Bee-Hive Assisted Living Center in Carrollton. She had been baptized and attended Cove Hill Baptist Church.
They had one son Leonard Ray Cannon and his girlfriend, Tonya, and Tonya's daughter, Brittany, all of Carrollton. Two sisters survive, Rosie Lee (Butch) Mack of Madison, IN, and Mae Dell (Lewis) Proctor of Carrolton, KY, a brother, Richard Calvin (Ellen) Mahoney of Carrollton, KY, her sister-in-law, Cheryl Mahoney of Carrollton, KY, who loved her dearly, one grandson, Devin Tyler Cannon of New Mexico. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ray N. Cannon, on February 14, 2009, a brother, George Alfred Mahoney on April 29, 2013.
Cremation has been chosen by the family with a gathering of family planned at a later date.
