Mary Coombs
February 5, 1941 — January 27, 2005
Mary Louise Coombs, 63, of Carrollton, KY., died on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born in Giles County, VA., the daughter of Charles Frank Gordon and Rosie Naomi Dillon. Mary and her husband Bain operated the former Blue Gables Court in Carrollton for 30 years. She was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband; Harry Bain Coombs, a daughter; Jennifer Lynn Vinzant of The Woodlands, TX., a sister; Elizabeth A. Tuttle of Columbus, MS., a grandchild; Jacob Harrison Vinzant of The Woodlands, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother; Frankie Lee Gordon.
The Rev. Jay Slaydon will officiate the Funeral Service with a special reading given by Beth Sapp.
Memorial Gifts may be given to The James Graham Brown Cancer Center or Hospice of Northern Kentucky.
