Mary Lynn Scott Craig, 87, of Ghent, KY., died on Sunday, September 29, 2013 with her family at her side at the Gallatin Health Care Center in Warsaw, KY. Mary Lynn was born on May 12, 1926 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late Edward S. Scott II. and Lillian Smith Scott. She graduated from Carrollton High School.Mary Lynn began working as a Nurses Aid in Louisville, KY, and then became a full time mother. As her children grew up she began working in the office of Davis & Craig Marathon, in Ghent, a business owned by her husband and his brother in-law. After that business closed she began helping at the Ghent Post Office. She took pleasure in her family, church, community and flowers. She was a life long member of the Ghent Baptist Church, teaching the children's Sunday School Class and Vacation Bible School. A member of the Ghent Younger Women's Club and active in the Ghent P.T.A. She was a loving mother and kind, gentle friend to many. She will be missed by two daughters, Vicki Lynn (Mike) Harmon of Mesa, AZ, and Retta (Darrell) Lykins of Ghent, KY, two sons, Bill (Julee) Craig of Nazareth, PA, and Ed (JoAnn) Craig, of Smiths Grove, KY, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years, Bill Craig, who passed July 19th of this year and one brother, Edward S. Scott III. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Ghent Baptist Church with the Bro. Graham Reynolds officiating the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Ghent Baptist Church, P.O. Box 457, Ghent, KY 41045.

Visitation

No visitation is planned.

Funeral

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Ghent Baptist Church with the Bro. Graham Reynolds officiating the service.

Interment

Cremation has been chosen by the family.
