Mary Ellen Hunt, 83, of Carrollton, KY, died on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Green Valley Health and Rehab. Center in Carrollton.
She was born on May 7, 1930 in Port Royal, Henry County, KY, the daughter of the late Connie and Lillie Mae Humble Hunter. She was a retired housekeeping supervisor at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton. She was of the baptist faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Aileen Hearn of Milton, KY, and Cathy Ann Spivey of Comanche, TX, two sons, Stanley Hunt of Carrollton, KY, and Steve Hunt of Perry Park, KY, three sisters, Lillian Warfield of Carrollton, KY, Agnes Smith of Carrollton, KY, Frances Vick of Hampton Rhodes, VA, two brothers, Chester Lee Hunter of Port Royal, KY, and Herschel Gene Hunter of Worthville, KY, fourteen grandchildren and several great and several great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James William Hunt, two sons, George William Hunt and Charles William Hunt, four brothers, Hubert, Richard, Billy and Doug Hunter,
One great grandson, Cody Chadwell.
Funeral Services were on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
Visitation
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Monday, October 14, 2013 at the funeral home.
Funeral
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Interment
Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
